The Aqua Medic Merlin Plus (PRF-RO) is a robust and powerful reverse osmosis system with a daily capacity of up to 2600 litres. The Merlin plus (PRF-RO) reverse osmosis unit operates using just the mains pressure of the tap water (3 - 4 bar), without the need for a high pressure pump. It has 2 high flow membranes and a combined activated carbon/sediment prefilter. Salt rejection is app. 90% and the recovery ratio (purewater:wastewater) is 1:3-4. Dimensions: 590x330x340 mm
The Aqua Medic Merlin reverse osmosis system is a water treatment unit. It uses water pressure to reverse a natural physical process called osmosis. Water, under pressure, is forced through a semi-permeable membrane to filter out minerals and impurities. Treated drinking water goes to the faucet. Minerals and impurities are sent to the drain with RO waste water. The system includes replaceable filters and membrane elements. The prefilter reduces sand, silt, dirt, rust particles, other sediments, and chlorine from the water supply before they enter the RO membrane elements. The postfilter reduces any tastes and/or odours that may remain in the water after passing through the RO membrane elements.
