BET surface area analysis determined 3D Filter Med to be 2850 m²/liter. The innovative three-dimensional structure of open and interconnected pores ensures proper filtration. This design provides a huge surface area, and interconnected channels create a unique habitat and enable the growth of billions of beneficial bacteria. Due to the high concentration of beneficial bacteria, this material is exceptionally effective in eliminating even very high levels of ammonia and nitrite.
