OCTOCIL is a development by manaus-aquarium for successful treatment of intestinal flagellates of diseased fish. The combination of active ingredients is stabilised by a special process and thus optimally reaches the fish in the treatment water.
OCTOCIL effectively frees your fish from intestinal flagellates and flagellates in the blood through the systemic effect of the drug. Cichlids, especially discus fish and scalars, can be massively infested in the intestines by flagellates such as Cryptobia, Hexamita, Spironucleus and Trichomonas. Intestinal flagellates are parasites and extract nutrients from the intestines of the host animal (fish) and lead to inflammatory processes and changes in the fish intestine.
OCTOCIL successfully kills these single-celled parasites in the fish during treatment and also reaches encapsulated stages of pathogens on the substrate of the aquarium. In the course of the treatment, the fish begin to absorb the food offered.
OCTOCIL should be used preventively in a quarantine aquarium for newly acquired fish. When breeding discus fish and scalars,
OCTOCIL can be used to treat young fish to reach flagellate-free fish stocks. The preparation is characterised by rapid therapeutic success and good tolerance.
OCTOCIL is usually administered once.
OCTOCIL has a long shelf life (5 years) even after the packaging has been broken. - After successful treatment with OCTOCIL, DIPLORAL should be added to the aquarium water of the previously treated fish over a few weeks to quickly compensate for the missing minerals in the organism of the fish. Package units: 500 ml for 10,000 litres of water. Composition of effective ingredients mg per ml: acriflavinium chloride 1.4 mg, rafoxanide 0.66 mg, ethacridine lactate 3.7 mg, proflavin hemisulphate 0.26 mg, methylthioninium chloride 0.13 m. Excipients: PEG, water.
Directions
For the use of OCTOCIL, the drug should be added to the aquarium water and dosed according to water volume. It is recommended to use it as a preventive measure for newly acquired fish and while breeding discus fish and scalars to achieve flagellate-free fish stocks. The packaging has a shelf life of 5 years, even after opening.
